A Law without the Parliament

Mr D. N. Goburdhun writes that the Supreme Court took over the functions of Parliament and has made a judicial legislation in the Common Cause v. Union of India judgement. He argues that laws must be made by Parliament and the courts must only interpret the law. He questions if the Supreme Court should have 'sailed into uncharted waters and ruled where there is no Parliament-made legislation'.
